The Threat Assessment Unit is a division of the Los Angeles Police Department. The unit is primarily composed of 3 detectives, their lieutenant, and the deputy district attorney. The T.A.U deal with complainants from all walks of life, and it's their job to analyse the threat level and potential for violence the stalkers pose, and catch them before irreversible psychological or physical damage is done to the victims.
